And People Wonder Why Republicans Lose Elections
In a sane world, after having lost 4 out of the last 6 presidential elections—and 5 out of the last 6 popular vote contests in those elections—the Republican party would be seeking to expand its base of support.
Apparently, the Utah branch of the GOP has chosen not to live in a sane world.
I don’t know what kind of mindset leads the state GOP to believe that Glenn Reynolds—who has a lot in common with Republicans and who has a gigantic megaphone to push his interests—wouldn’t be a welcome ally, but I know enough to conclude that said mindset can’t be called a winning one. God help the GOP if the rest of the party looks at what their brethren and sistren have done in Utah and applauds.
Nota Bene: Yes, it’s a word.
